Announcement Bar

A site-wide alert bar managed from Other Content — no per-page editing required.

The Announcement Bar displays a global message at the top of every page. Ideal for time-sensitive alerts, event promotions, or important notices. Content is managed once in Other Content and appears everywhere automatically.

• Location: Other Content → Alert Bar
• Requires: A block pattern created for the alert content

How to use it

1. Create alert content — Build the announcement content as a reusable block pattern under Appearance → Patterns
2. Go to Other Content → Alert Bar — Toggle the bar on and select your pattern from the dropdown
3. Set a close option — Enable the close button so visitors can dismiss the bar
4. Set duration — Optionally set how many days before the bar reappears for visitors who closed it
