Cora Swiper / Effects

Cora Swiper / Effects is an add-on plugin for Cora Swiper 2 that adds slide transition effects to the Cora Swiper Slides block. With it you can effortlessly add special transition effects like Fade or Coverflow to any Cora Swiper from right inside the block editor. Or, if you want to make a custom transition just for your theme, the Swiper “Creative” Effect makes it very easy for a developer to craft their own animations based on the start/end states.

How to Use

After you’ve installed the add-on, you’ll see a new Swiper Effects panel on the Cora Swiper block. From here you can change from the standard Swipe effect to a number of different effects, detailed below!

Fade

Instead of sliding from side-to-side, your slides will remain fixed in place and fade in when activated. You can choose from one of three different fade types: Cross Fade, Fade In, or Fade Out, Then In.

Coverflow

Just like that old effect from iTunes. Man, remember iTunes? That was like fifteen years ago.

Flip

Instead of sliding across the X axis, your slides will now rotate around the Y, with the incoming slide appearing on the back of the outgoing.

Cube

Not the 1997 Canadian science fiction horror film directed and co-written by Vincenzo Natali, but just as captivating!

Cards

Good for “stacks” of photos or cards. Not to be confused with Stack or Deck groups! There are too many metaphors.

Creative

Oh, you thought we were done?? Creative isn’t just an effect, it’s a framework for creating your own effects. Out of the box there are a handful of prefabs, but really the point of this one is to let the production team go wild.
